Jan-Willem Anker
has four collections of poetry and
has been a programmer for the Rotterdam Poetry International. His work has
been translated into French and German. In 2012 he published the historical
novel Een beschaafde man (A
Civilised Man), excerpted in Banipal 51, based on the life of the notorious
British art collector Lord Elgin.
