Noura Mohammad Faraj
Noura Mohammad Faraj is a Qatari author, and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Arabic Language at Carnegie Mellon University, Doha, Qatar. She has two books, one the short story collection The Totem (2001) and a novel Rosewater, and two academic works.
An excerpt from Ma’a al-Ward (Rosewater) together with a review are featured in Banipal 69 – 9 New Novels. Rosewater is fast paced and grounded in ancient history, with an intriguing plot that opens up numerous tales and mysteries.
