Najlaa Osman Eltom is a Sudanese writer based in Sweden. She has been active in the Sudanese literary scene since 2000. She has two poetry collections in Arabic, published in Cairo, 2007, and in Istanbul, 2016. Some of her work is translated into Swedish and English.

She has also published several literary translations into English and Arabic. She has participated in several local and regional literary events including the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (2001), Cairo Book Fair (2007) and the British Council's Writers Encounter (2007). She received her MA in English Literature from Stockholm University in 2015.
