Anna Asbury studied Classics and Linguistics at Cambridge University, then found her way into literary translation through a summer course with the Dutch Foundation for Literature, which she stumbled across during her PhD studies in linguistics in Utrecht. On her return to the UK she set herself up as a freelance translator. Recent work includes several books on politics and economics, the graphic novel Rembrandt, about the life of the artist Rembrandt, blogs and articles about Flemish and Dutch culture for The Low Countries Yearbook published by Ons Erfdeel, and a handful of books on business ethics and popular psychology for self-publishing authors.
