James Byrne is a British poet and translator who edited The Wolf magazine from 2002-2017. He has several poetry collections, has been lecturer in creative writing at Edge Hill University, UK, and poet in residence at Clare Hall, Cambridge University. He has lived, studied and worked in New York and in 2015 published his first US collection, Everything Broken Up Dances. He is presently Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Edge Hill University,Lancashire, UK.
