Zeena Faulk is an Iraqi-American literary translator, currently pursuing a PhD in Translation Studies at the University of Warwick, UK. Her doctoral thesis focuses on readers’ reactions to translated Iraqi satire. The thesis is part of a larger project that examines how contemporary satirical discourse in the Middle East might be translated for an English-reading audience.

She has 14 years’ experience in medical and legal translation and interpretation, Her previous roles include managing editor positions with both Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic.She has also served as an on-site interpreter for criminal courts throughout the USA.
