was born on 15 May 1973. She has a BA in Communication – Radio and Television, Cairo University, and is studying for an MA . She works as a presenter for al-Arab Radio and Television (ART) and is a film critic. She has one collection of short stories (2004) and one novel Istiqalat Malik al-Mawt [The Resignation of the King of Death], Dar Sharqiyat, 2005.
