Safaa Ennagar
was born on 15 May 1973. She has a BA in Communication – Radio and Television, Cairo University, and is studying for an MA . She works as a presenter for al-Arab Radio and Television (ART) and is a film critic. She has one collection of short stories (2004) and one novel Istiqalat Malik al-Mawt [The Resignation of the King of Death], Dar Sharqiyat, 2005.
Safaa Ennagar's story Amoeba, translated by Ali Azeriah and featured in Banipal 25's New Writing in Egypt is republished on www.laurahird.com as part of ezine's review of Banipal 25.
