Ann El Safi is a Sudanese writer, journalist and engineer currently living between Abu Dhabi and Canada. She graduated from the University of the Eastern Mediterranean in 1996 with a degree in Computer Engineering.

She currently works as a journalist, lecturer and trainer in the field of human resources.

Her first novel, titled Fulk al-Ghiwaya (The Ark of Seduction), was published in 2014. She has eight novels, her last one Khubz al-Ghajar (The Gypsies’ Bread) was published by Fada’at Publishing in 2020.

She has published many articles of a cultural nature in numerous local and Arab newspapers.
