Nabil Naum Gorgy
was born in Cairo and studied Civil Engineering at Cairo University. He later worked as a soil engineer in and around New York. Since returning to Cairo in 1979, he has devoted himself to writing. He writes his novels and short stories in Arabic and his work has been translated into English, French, Swedish, and other languages.
