Aroussia Naluti
was born in 1950 in Jerba, Tunisia. She graduated in Arabic Literature, and has worked in several positions at the Ministries of Education and of Culture. She published her first collection of short stories in 1975, and since has two novels, three plays, also film and television scripts. She has written three children’s books. In 1997 she was awarded the Ministry of Culture prize for best novel.
