Salah Hasan
was born in Babel, Iraq, in 1960. He studied theatre at the Academy of Fine Art, Baghdad, leaving Iraq in 1992. He has published several collections of poetry, including four for children, and written plays, staged in Holland and elsewhere. He lives in Amsterdam.
