Idriss (Driss) el-Khouri (1939–14 February 2022)
Idriss (Driss) el-Khouri was a novelist and short story writer, and worked as a journalist on al-Ittihad al Ishtiraki newspaper. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, since the early sixties he published eight works, comprising collections of short stories, novels and essays.
He died on 14 February 2022, at his home in Salé, Rabat, aged 83.
