Nick Grigg
is a photographer based in Scotland and over his 20-year career has developed a strong interest in how, as artists, photographers present imagery pertaining to the human condition. “Be it of local or global relevance, the manner in which we contribute to contemporary visual culture is vital”, he says. “We need to continually look at ways of challenging the status quo of traditional genres in order to actively engage the viewer.”
