Banipal magazine’s last issue of 2022 is No. 75. This completes 25 years of publishing the contemporary modern literature of the Arab world in English translation. For 25 years Banipal has thrown its window on the Arab literary scene wide open. No. 75 marks the end of the magazine in its present form. Print issues will remain on sale individually, where available, while the complete digital archive of issues 1-75 is available to institutions via subscription or perpetual access as a unique, invaluable and indispensable finite resource.
