Poetry International London
focuses on Palestine and the Middle East, hosting poets from around the world on the theme of imagining peace.

Among the performers, the poets published by Banipal include:

Ramsey Nasr, Poet Laureate of the Netherlands (Dichter des Vaderlands), has two performances at the Festival. His first book in English translation is just published by Banipal Books – Heavenly Life – Selected Poems.

Nujoom al-Ghanem, from the United Arab Emirates, whom some will have seen earlier this year at the Ledbury Poetry Festival or the London Literature Festival, is making a return visit. Also Nathalie Handal, Elmaz Abinader and Lisa Suhair Majaj – three Arab American poets. These four poets have works published in Banipal 38 – Arab American Authors.
